This week was “Math Week” in the IB section. During the week, the 5th-8th graders were engaged in various mathematical activities, played logic games, and completed STEAM activities.
Today, March 14, is “World Pi Day”. (Mathematical Constant (π) Numerical Day)
For this purpose, an event dedicated to Mathematics was held in Idrak Lyceum within the framework of “Mathematics Week” with the participation of 8E, PRE-DP and IB DP 1 class students.
The guest of honor of the event was Bahman Mammadov (Bahman Qudsi), a Mathematics teacher at Baku Engineering University, and the Head of the Mathematics Department.
During the meeting, our students addressed the questions they were interested in. The teacher shared his opinion on forming a mathematical worldview in students and increasing their interest in mathematics.
Our students expressed their gratitude to Idrak Lyceum for organizing such useful meetings and events for them.
