Students’ involvement in numerous Olympiads, tournaments, and educational conferences is highly valued at Idrak Lyceum. The Olympiad Center operating in our lyceum greatly encourages students to participate in local and international subject Olympiads, national-level projects, as well as international projects. Our students participate in the IMEC Mathematics Olympiad, FISO Mathematics Olympiad, Copernicus Mathematics Olympiad, Kangaroo Mathematics Competition, SASMO Mathematics Olympiad, American Mathematics Olympiad, Lotfi Zadeh Logic Olympiad, Republican Subject Olympiads (Mathematics, Azerbaijani language, and Literature), Republican Subject Competitions (Mathematics). At Idrak Lyceum, the environment has been designed to encourage students to engage actively in sports. As a result of this, they represent Azerbaijan well in international competitions. Our students have achieved high results in sports such as karate, wrestling, swimming, chess, rhythmic gymnastics, etc.

The Department of Innovative Educational Technologies of the Lyceum is improving the ability to use modern ICT tools by applying 21st-century skills – various programming languages. Our students represent our country in Lego competitions in the fields of STEAM-Robotics, programming with Arduino, Electronics Programming, and local and international projects related to IVR-Virtual reality technologies and achieve high achievements.

Many intellectual competitions such as “Khamsa” and “Brain Ring” are traditionally held in our lyceum. We would especially like to announce the success of our alumni. Idrak Lyceum is the only school with 100% results in entrance exams every year. Some of our alumni get high scores and major at the local universities, while others continue their studies at the most prestigious universities in foreign countries.
