An Olympiad Center is operating in our lyceum, and the main goal of the center is to identify many talented students, to increase the interest of students in the in-depth study of subjects, to create conditions for students who are distinguished by their talent and high potential to demonstrate their knowledge and skills, and to identify candidate students who will participate in local and international subject Olympiads. With the organization of the center, additional preparations for these Olympiads are organized and all opportunities are created for students to participate in these Olympiads.

Preparations are held in Azerbaijani, Russian, and English sections, 2nd-11th grades in Azerbaijani language, Literature, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, History, Geography, Biology, and Informatics. Before starting preparation classes, various types of selection rounds are organized for subjects and sections. The purpose of conducting the selection rounds is to support and guide the potential students and conduct special academic activities.

Every year, our students participate in several local and international Olympiads and competitions. Among them there are the Republican Science Olympiads, Republican Science Competitions, Lotfi Zadeh Logic Olympiad, SASMO, “Hippo” International English Language Olympiad, “Kangaroo” International Mathematics Competition, “Math League” Mathematics Competition, “Kings” Olympiad, “Turkey Mathematical” Olympiad, “KenKen” Mathematics Competition, “FISO” International Mathematical Olympiad, “FISO” International English Language Olympiad, “STEM” Olympiad, Asian International Mathematical Olympiad (AIMO), “IMEC Online” Mathematical Competition, American Mathematical Olympiad (AMO), “Copernicus” “Olympics and other competitions. They won gold, silver, and bronze medals and received numerous certificates. The presence of students who participated in the preparation classes for the Olympics among our students who succeeded in the Olympics is an indication that these classes will play an essential role in the success of our students in the coming years.
